Not every lead deserves the same effort. The system should help you tell them apart.

A lead list is only useful if somebody works it, and working it properly means knowing which leads are worth a call today, which need nurturing for six months, and which were never going to buy.
CubeCRM holds leads separately from customers until they qualify, scores them on the criteria you choose, and routes them to the right person with a clear next step. Leads that are not ready yet go into follow-up sequences rather than being forgotten, and leads that go nowhere are closed with a reason - so over time you learn which sources, sectors and sizes of business actually convert.

What it does
Inside lead management software
The parts of CubeCRM that make up lead management. Everything here sits on the same customer record, so nothing needs re-keying between them.
Leads kept separate
Prospects sit in their own list until they qualify, so the customer database is not cluttered with names from a trade show three years ago.
Scoring you control
Score leads on sector, size, source, location and engagement using your own rules, and sort the list so the likeliest buyers are at the top.
Routing and ownership
Assign by territory, product or round robin, with a named owner and a next action on every lead. Reassignment keeps the history.
Nurture, do not forget
Leads that are not ready get a follow-up date or a sequence of reminders, so a "call me in the spring" actually gets a call in the spring.
Lists imported cleanly
Trade show scans, bought lists and event sign-ups imported with de-duplication against existing leads and customers, and consent recorded where it applies.
Conversion by source
See how many leads from each source qualified, became opportunities and were won - and how long each step took.
In practice
Problems this actually solves
Typical situations, anonymised. What businesses tell us before they change anything, and what changes afterwards.
- Case 1
Trade show cards in a drawer
Before
An equipment supplier came back from each trade show with a few hundred scanned badges. They were emailed round as a spreadsheet, a handful were called, and the rest were forgotten until the next show.
With CubeCRM
Show leads are imported the same week, scored on sector and company size, and assigned by territory with a follow-up date. The team works the best fifty first, and the rest go into a nurture sequence.
- Case 2
Everyone chasing the same prospect
Before
A software reseller’s sales team worked from a shared prospect list. Two people occasionally called the same company in the same week, and the prospect noticed.
With CubeCRM
Every lead now has one owner, visible to everybody. Contact attempts are logged against the lead, and nobody calls a prospect somebody else is already working.
- Case 3
Not now, meaning never
Before
A commercial cleaning company regularly heard "our contract is up next year" from prospects. Those leads were noted on paper and very rarely followed up at the right time.
With CubeCRM
Contract end dates are recorded against the lead with a reminder three months ahead. The follow-up now happens when the prospect is actually in the market.
The features behind it
See the parts doing the work
Each one has its own page showing how it works. And if the business later needs orders and stock, CubeCRM grows into CubeERP on the same records.
Lead capture
Web forms, emails, phone calls and lead-site enquiries in one queue - assigned by rule, timed from arrival and tracked from source to sale.

Build lists from anything on the customer record, sync them to Mailchimp, and track which campaigns turn into enquiries and won work.

How it happens
What getting started involves
No mystery and no open-ended project. Five stages, and you will know what each one costs before it starts.
- 1
Discovery
A short, structured session on how enquiries arrive, how you quote, and where customer information lives now - the inboxes, the spreadsheet, the old CRM and the notebook in the car. We come back with what works as standard and what needs configuring.
- 2
Setup
Pipeline stages, fields, quote templates, email connection, teams and permissions set up to match how you sell - not a demo account with your logo dropped on it.
- 3
Data import
Contacts, companies, open opportunities and quote history brought across from spreadsheets, inboxes or your previous CRM, with duplicates merged. You check it against what you had before anybody switches over.
- 4
Training & rollout
Short, role-based training so the sales team learns the pipeline and the office learns enquiries and cases - in person where it helps. Guides and screen recordings left behind for new starters.
- 5
Ongoing support
UK support from the people who built the platform, with a named contact, agreed response times, and a product roadmap you can influence.

Questions
The things people ask first
In CubeCRM an enquiry is somebody who contacted you, and a lead is anybody you might sell to - including people you found yourselves. Both can qualify into an opportunity. Some businesses only need one of the two, and that is fine.
Yes, with de-duplication against existing records. Make sure you have a lawful basis to contact the people on it - we record consent and source against each lead to help, but the decision is yours.
CubeCRM handles the reminders, tasks and segmentation, and bulk email sending runs through Mailchimp or your existing platform via the integration. A mail platform is a specialist job and we would rather integrate with a good one than pretend to be one.
On whatever criteria you set - sector, size, location, source, whether they opened a campaign email, whether they visited a pricing page. Scoring is transparent, so a salesperson can see why a lead is ranked where it is.
