A pipeline is a list of promises. It should be obvious which ones are real.

Sales Pipeline Software

Every opportunity on one board, by stage, with value, likelihood and next step - so the whole team can see what is live and what is stuck.

Most pipelines are either a spreadsheet that is updated before the sales meeting or a whiteboard that is not updated at all.

Either way, nobody can say with confidence what the business is likely to win this quarter, and deals quietly stall without anybody noticing. CubeCRM shows every opportunity on a board by stage - stages you define, matching how you actually sell - with its value, likelihood, expected close date, owner and next step. Moving a deal on is a drag, not a form. Deals that have not moved in a while are flagged, and because the quote, the emails and the calls all sit on the same record, the pipeline is a working tool rather than a report somebody maintains.

What it does

Inside sales pipeline software

The parts of CubeCRM that make up sales pipeline. Everything here sits on the same customer record, so nothing needs re-keying between them.

  • Your stages, on a board

Define the stages your deals really go through - enquiry, survey, quote, negotiation, won - and move deals between them with a drag. Different pipelines for different kinds of work.

  • A next step on every deal

An opportunity without a next action is a deal nobody is working. CubeCRM asks for one every time a deal moves, and shows the ones that have none.

  • Stalled deals flagged

Deals that have sat in one stage longer than normal, or passed their expected close date, are highlighted on the board and in the owner’s morning list.

  • Value and likelihood

Each deal carries a value and a probability, with the weighted total shown per stage and per person. The numbers come from the deals, not from a separate spreadsheet.

  • Quotes on the deal

Build and send the quote from the opportunity itself. Revisions update the deal value, and online acceptance moves it to won.

  • Win and loss reasons

Closed deals record why they were won or lost, so patterns - price, timing, a particular competitor - become visible over a quarter rather than anecdotal.

In practice

Problems this actually solves

Typical situations, anonymised. What businesses tell us before they change anything, and what changes afterwards.

  • Case 1

A whiteboard in the sales office

    Before

A signage company tracked its live projects on a whiteboard. It was accurate on Mondays, nobody away from the office could see it, and there was no record of deals that had been lost.

    With CubeCRM

The pipeline is now a board in CubeCRM that the whole team, including the owner working remotely, sees live. Lost deals carry a reason, and price turned out to be the reason far less often than assumed.

  • Case 2

    Deals that stalled in silence

    Before

An IT hardware reseller had dozens of opportunities marked "proposal sent" for months. Most had quietly died, but they kept inflating the forecast.

    With CubeCRM

Deals idle for more than three weeks are flagged to their owner and reviewed weekly. The pipeline shrank on paper, the forecast became believable, and the team spent its time on deals that were actually live.

  • Case 3

Two kinds of work in one list

    Before

A building services contractor sold both quick reactive jobs and six-month projects, tracked in the same spreadsheet. The projects distorted every average.

    With CubeCRM

Two pipelines with their own stages now run side by side. Reactive work is judged on speed, projects on value and win rate, and neither muddies the other.

How it happens

What getting started involves

No mystery and no open-ended project. Five stages, and you will know what each one costs before it starts.

  1. 1

    Discovery

A short, structured session on how enquiries arrive, how you quote, and where customer information lives now - the inboxes, the spreadsheet, the old CRM and the notebook in the car. We come back with what works as standard and what needs configuring.

  2. 2

    Setup

Pipeline stages, fields, quote templates, email connection, teams and permissions set up to match how you sell - not a demo account with your logo dropped on it.

  3. 3

    Data import

Contacts, companies, open opportunities and quote history brought across from spreadsheets, inboxes or your previous CRM, with duplicates merged. You check it against what you had before anybody switches over.

  4. 4

    Training & rollout

Short, role-based training so the sales team learns the pipeline and the office learns enquiries and cases - in person where it helps. Guides and screen recordings left behind for new starters.

  5. 5

    Ongoing support

UK support from the people who built the platform, with a named contact, agreed response times, and a product roadmap you can influence.

Questions

The things people ask first

  • Yes. Different products, services or teams can each have their own pipeline with their own stages, and reporting can combine them or keep them separate.

  • Yes. Stages can be renamed, added or reordered as your process changes, and existing deals are mapped across rather than lost.

  • Each stage has a default probability, which the owner can override on an individual deal. Over time the reporting shows how often deals at each stage are actually won, which is the best guide to setting them.

  • Yes, subject to permissions. Managers can filter the board by person or team, and individuals can be restricted to their own deals if that suits the business.

  • Yes. The board, deal details and next steps all work on a phone, so a deal can be moved on in the car park straight after the meeting.
